Super Concepts has been named inaugural SMSF administrator of the year by leading Australian financial services information company Rainmaker.

Super Concepts beat its major competitors to win the prestigious award, the first time Rainmaker has specifically recognised SMSF administrators.

At the awards ceremony held in Sydney this morning, Rainmaker said Super Concepts had demonstrated consistent leadership in the SMSF sector with an innovative, influential and successful approach.

Super Concepts general manager John Suter said the award capped an outstanding 12 months for the SMSF administrator which saw an almost tripling of new funds established.

"For Super Concepts to win this award in what has been a landmark year for the entire SMSF sector is a remarkable achievement," Mr Suter said.

"Our success has been driven by the dedication and hard work of our staff who are constantly striving to provide the best possible service and results for our valued clients.

"Super Concepts' strong focus on delivering for its clients has seen funds under administration grow by 21 per cent over the 2006-2007 financial year to more than $2 billion.
