SuperMate update 4.3.0 is scheduled for the weekend of 7 July and is packed full of enhancements and new features. Here are a few of the main highlights.

• Report suites have been created for the 2017/18 financial year. A change with this release is that instead of each tax return and schedule having a new ‘Report’ for each financial year (e.g. 2017, 2018 etc.), SuperMate has a generic ‘Report’ and knows which ‘Form’ version to use for each financial year.
• SuperMate has a new feature that will allow you to comply with the ATO’s new interpretation of claiming exempt pension income for funds that are deemed segregated for only part of a year.
• This release modernises the reports that are produced from both SuperMate and ViewSuper. This includes updating contents of reports as well as formatting/layout changes.
• We’re continuing with our push to automate as much of the year-end close process as possible. This includes confirming sufficient documentation is available in order to send the fund to audit.
