SuperConcepts cements leadership team

In a company-wide Town Hall session held yesterday SuperConcepts CEO Grant Christensen made the announcement of two key leadership appointments, effective immediately.

Andy Forbes, who has been acting as the interim Chief Technology Officer (CTO) since February, 2021, will assume the responsibilities of CTO on a permanent basis.

Jim Robinson has been promoted to Chief Information Officer - a role that has been vacant since, the now CEO, Grant Christensen was promoted in December, 2020. Robinson has been the Executive Manager, IT since month, year.

“Andy and Jim combined have been with the company for almost 30 years and have made an incredible contribution to our development over that time.

They have, and will continue to, play an integral part in leading SuperConcepts on our transformation journey,” said Christensen.

Forbes manages the CTO team who are currently working to develop the next generation of SuperMate,

“We’re hitting our internal milestones and are on track to launch the new and improved product very early in 2022,” Forbes said.

The appointment provides certainty to staff and users alike that we’re on the right track and enables us to continue our ambitious plan to be the best SMSF, Portfolio and SAF administration software in the market. 

“Jim brings a wealth of experience and complements the skills and strengths of our existing Leadership Team.

 “IT is the backbone of our business and Jim has lead us through an amazing period of stability capped by our attainment of ISO 27001 and SOC II during the past two years” Christensen said.

“This is a pivotal move for us in terms of stability as we strengthen our Leadership Team further and I am thrilled to be working closely with Andy and Jim.”

SuperConcepts continues to disrupt the SMSF market with technology-led innovations.

Christensen said, “We have a huge opportunity in front of us to continue our growth and deliver greater choices for our customers in their SMSF needs. Having the right team is paramount to achieving this.”
